Job Description:

The.NET Engineer will be part of the Developmentteam that develops and delivers those solutions to our users.  The .NET Engineer will be responsible for developing new features on our product as well as support and maintain existing functionality.  We expect high quality and well tested code while striving to maintain a well-balanced life in and out of the office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement business requirements using object-oriented design and development strategies and patterns
  • Full lifecycle application development using C# .NET
  • Create and maintain data ingestion and transformationlogic
  • Develop and maintain internal and externalRESTful APIs
  • Work with external APIs to develop application workflows
  • Maintain code versioning using Git
  • Ensure programming best practices and procedureswithin the engineering team

Required Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in C# development usingthe .NET or .NET Coreframework
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or related experience
  • RESTful API design and implementation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with NOSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, and/or Redis
  • Experience working with AWS or Azure
  • Some familiarity with front end web technologies and/or frameworks such as Angular, React, and/or JavaScript/typescript
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team
  • Practical knowledge of n-tier architecture and OOP principles, including best practices and common coding and design patters (e.g., SOLID, Dependency Injection, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills including the ability work with the business unit to better understand business requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microservices Architecture
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker & Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of OAuth Identity Services
  • Experience with AWS lambda and/or Azure functions
  • Experience with ETL pipelines in AWS
  • Experience with message queues and notification queues in AWS (SQS, SMS)
