Logistic Head ( AGM/DGM ) - Delhi, Mumbai & Hyderabad

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to streamline operations and enhance
efficiency.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to understand inventory requirements and coordinate procurement
and distribution accordingly.
3. Manage transportation, warehouse, and distribution activities to meet customer demands while
minimizing costs.
4. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners to ensure
smooth operations.
5. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and
implementing corrective measures.
6. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing logistics operations.
7. Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal
performance.
8. Evaluate and select appropriate carriers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to achieve
cost-effective transportation solutions.
9. Implement technology solutions to enhance logistics processes, including tracking systems and
inventory management tools.
10. Develop and maintain contingency plans to address unforeseen logistics challenges or disruptions.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a similar industry.
3. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation management, and inventory control.
4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Familiarity with relevant logistics software and technologies.
7. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.

8. Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations and compliance.
