We have an opening for the role of Pre Sales Manager based at Mumbai.
Our client is a product development organization providing technology-forward software products & services to the ports and terminals industry. Our state-of-the-art solution platform combines industry best practices with innovative technologies and world-class services. Our client transforms the way multi-purpose ports, terminals and multi-modal depots optimize their operational cargo flows, eliminate inefficient processes and boost business performance of all their stakeholders.

We have successfully implemented our solutions at leading ports and terminals in over 22 countries. 

Core Expertise
• Experience in closing ERP/IT Product Sales in Port & Terminals Industry or from Transport & Logistics Industry.

Responsibilities
1.Client Engagement:
• Needs to lead and own the RFP process
• Needs to provide inputs into product development and implementation.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and business objectives.
• Engage with potential clients through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our ERP solutions.

2.Needs Analysis:
•Conduct thorough needs analysis by gathering and understanding client requirements.
•Assess current business processes and challenges to identify opportunities for improvement through ERP implementation.

3.Solution Presentation:
•Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of ERP solutions tailored to client needs.
•Clearly articulate the value proposition, features, and benefits of the ERP system to potential clients.

4.Product Knowledge:
•Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and updates in ERP technology.
•Demonstrate a deep understanding of our ERP products and how they can address diverse business challenges across different industries.

5.Collaboration:
•Work closely with the technical and implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities.
•Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant information and insights that enhance
the pre-sales process.


6.Proposal Development:
•Contribute to the creation of comprehensive and compelling proposals, including pricing and scope of work, based on client requirements.

7.Competitor Analysis:
•Keep abreast of competitors' offerings and market trends to position our ERP solutions effectively against the competition.

8.Feedback Loop:
•Provide feedback from clients to the product development and implementation teams for continuous improvement.

Experience
• 10 years to 15 years of Relevant Experience.

Sales Territory
• Position is based in Mumbai but Territory is Global. Travel as required.

Candidate details
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Proven experience in pre-sales consulting for ERP solutions.
•Strong understanding of business processes across various industries.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills.
•Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
•Familiarity with the latest ERP technologies and trends.
•Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
