  • The purpose of this role is to make a small team of dynamic superstars who can lead our business in specific geographies as assigned to them.
  • They need to hire, train, set SOPs, create and maintain overall KRA of both account management and creative team created for the territory. Provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the client’s marketing needs are met.
  • They need to scout and lead business and manage operations in the dedicated zones.
  • They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the day-to-day activities.
  • Consult, create, monitor, communication that matters across a fully integrated channel mix.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Business cluster management – responsible for clients’ businesses cluster and team management. It is similar to taking the responsibility of an agency branch.
  • Provides service propositionwith complete end-to-end business management catered to individual clients.
  • Have the capability to direct teams to maximize productivity.Overlooks team’s WIP and has an overview of ongoing projects without having to look into minute details.
  • Manage P&L for business clusters and forecast operational incomeweekly to present it to the senior management team.

 

  1. Be the key escalation point –be solution-oriented by being the go-to person clients’ address when facing an issue with the team. Be quick to deal with problems and resolve issues.
  2. Relationship management –create strategic relationships with clients by creating a win-win situation that suits both clientele requirements whilst understanding team’s perspective. Have a positive approach to be able to challenge clients where necessary to yield the best outcome.
  3. Identify development opportunities – Identify cross sell and upsell opportunities with constant follow up on growth and development.
  4. Commercial and service ownership of client relationship– drives seamless delivery and profitability of account.
  5. Team Management –have great communication skills to motivate teams working towards client management to constantly grow. Have the ability to challenge clients’ brief to express what would work best and bring out the creativity from the team accordingly. Make sure the team performs as per clientele requirements and guide the team wherever necessary. Have the ability to spot potential and inspire ones to do better.

Desired Candidate profile:

  • Graduate (MBA preferred) with experience of 12+ yrs. in client servicing and account management from leading integrated agencies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and team management skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Understands the mainline and digital ecosystem well and gives solutions to clients addressing their business or marketing/communications challenges.
  • Previous experience leading teams of over 15 people – ideal
  • A strong grounding in the commercial running of accounts, processes and P&L
  • Strong gravitas and the ability to build relationships with senior clients, building trust in our offering
  • A team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with your teams and colleagues.
