The Challenge
Even if we wanted, STAGE couldn’t exist 5 years ago as the baseline infrastructure of
smartphones and cheap data was not available. That makes our application as a product and
the technology behind it as important as the quality of our content. The users that we are trying
to serve have never been served before in the digital economy and so we constantly have to
keep inventing new ways to make their experience more native on the internet. A successful
candidate will identify themselves with these audiences, understand them and make STAGE the
most premium app to use for them without making it intimidating to use.
Roles and Responsibilities
? Understand customers needs and aspirations deeply, be the custodian of the customer
voice and ensure everyone across teams priorities that in the company.
? Own the Strategy, Roadmap, Execution and Success for STAGE OTT product including
subscription growth and renewals.
? Work closely with the Design, Technical, Content and Marketing team to deliver world
class experience to our users and then make it simpler.
? Manage the lifecycle of existing STAGE products Apps / Web / TV
? Support the cross functional teams with relevant decision making data and insights
Expectations
? Growth and Ownership mindset
? Ability to extract, analyze and communicate data
? 3-10 years of experience working in B2C product management roles.
? Outstanding written and spoken communication skills in English as well as ability to
articulate your thoughts really well.
? Ability to evaluate opportunities, measure progress while working through complex
problems and ambiguous hypotheses.
? Experience working in a startup environment, or on ambitious zero-to-one projects in
established organizations.
? Experience in planning and executing end-to-end projects.
? Ex-founder is a big plus.

Dialect based Netflix for Bharat.
STAGE is a hyper-local OTT platform that produces content in dialects like Haryanvi, Rajasthani
etc. STAGE features content formats like long-duration web series, movies, short-films, standup
comedians, poetry, folk & much more.
Started in 2019, STAGE currently focuses on Haryanavi only as a dialect. It has become the
largest OTT in the region by generating 2m+ downloads already.
