Job Description:
Position: Tool Room Manager
Location: Daman
Experience: 10 - 12 Years
Industries: Plastic
Responsibilities:
- Design co-ordinate, New mould validate , Mould Planning meeting .
- Monthly & Daily work load planning review & conclusion
- Distribute the work load all trainee & Engineer
- Damage Mould Correction & Maintenance Spare Management
- Made mould ready for production & Maintain tool room ISO TS document
- Prepare Monthly mould -Inward & Out ward Register
- Modification & Refurbishment of Mould,Drawing reading.
- Process planning, coordination and follow up action of the manufacturing of new moulds.
- Actual cavity mould correction done after made a design cavity to increase productivity
- Monitoring and planning daily maintenance activities of mould breakdown, scheduled and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain the Mould History Records verify Spare management
- Mould preventive maintenance as per schedule Mould polishing
- Ensure adherence as per ISO systems with Documentation (QMS & EMS) & related procedure. *Audit compliance knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 / IATF / EMS*
- Finalizing mould technical annexure for new mould and ensure all technical requirement
- New mould trials-IQ / OQ /PQ completion along with documentation.
- Develop vendors for Mould, HRS, critical spares and mould maintenance and manufacturing related services.
- Conducting audits to enhance quality of products & reduce rejection level & rework.
- Implementation of KAIZEN and 5S in shop floor and peripheral areas.
- Engineering change notice if any implementation in mould.
- Process planning, coordination and follow up action of the manufacturing of new moulds (CAPA).
- Maintain mould development schedule and timeline with planned for new mould manufacturing.
- Job work distribution among vendors for outsourced services.
- Developing vendors for new and existing products, follow-up for on-time delivery, cost control/cost effective.
- Conducting audits to enhance quality of products & reduce rejection level & rework.
- Communicate with purchase team for Mould accessories, Raw materials, and consumables for new mould development as well as mould breakdown activities.
- Directing, instructing, and supervising maintenance technician,
- Practical knowledge in operating machines like EDM, Drilling, Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinder, Power Hacksaw
- should experience of High pressure die casting dies
- Responsible for planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance of the machines, equipment s and tools to avoid the breakdown.
- Also manage on time availability of tools to ensure continuous production & increase of overall equipment effectiveness.
- Should be Shop Floor, Hardcore person, Hands on Experience in Press Tools Maintenances & Modifications.
Required Skills:
- Monitoring the production line and doing periodic Quality Control checks, writing reports on design, pre-production, Candidate worked in tool Room background. Preferably who can join immediate.

- Down Time Report review
- MRM Report
- Quality inspection report
- Should have knowledge of operations of Tool machines including CNC Machines.
- Should be Well versed in Press Tools, Jigs & Fixtures, Tools Maintenance, Tool Corrections, Tool Drawings
Required Qualification: - B.E/Diploma-Mechanical
