Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Create presentations outlining findings and present to the client managers and engineers.
- Work with clients to develop network engineering solutions from concept through implementation.
- Assist in development of network detailed designs in the following areas: software defined networking, network segmentation, network access control, network security and cloud networking components.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for emerging network technologies.
- Understanding Support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
- Working Knowledge on Network security Protocols, LAN, WAN, Network security, Wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, Proxy, VPN, Firewalls, TCP/IP, Intranets, Extranets, VoIP, Virtualization, High Availability, Backups/Disaster recovery, Routers, Device drivers.
- Deployment and configuration of various network devices and services, including SD-WAN, Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, IPS/IDS, Wireless LAN, VPN, MPLS, Radius, and MFA.
- Providing Level 2/Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Providing Support to Level 1 and Level 2 Engineers.
- Handling Customer escalations and taking ownerships.
- Providing RCA and Cases analysis whenever required.
- Preparing Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly reports and share with the Upper management and Clients.
- Knowledge of Managing Virtual networks on cloud platforms e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, AWS and VM Ware.
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixed and security configurations.
- Monitoring performance and ensured system availability and reliability.
- Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Managing and configuring Network devices via SNMP via RMM tools e.g., N-Central N-able, ConnectWise, PRTG etc.
- Exposure with popular tools to troubleshoot the complex issues in Networks e.g., PSping, Telnet, traceroute, network watcher, Wireshark, Fidler etc.
- Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Responsible to Create SOPs for Different solutions to help Tier 1 and Tier2 Team members.
- Will be responsible for updating, sharing daily, weekly & monthly ticketstracker&analysis.
- Defining key management routines and governance strategy to ensure effectivebusinessprocess execution.
- Initiateimprovementsintools,requirementsgathering,processes,andpeople.
Educational Qualifications:
- Should be Graduate or Above
- Certifications desirable – CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA.
Other Prerequisites:
- Ability to work is rotational shift & depending on business needs.
- Prior work experience in MNC & matrix organization
