Role Summary: As an Automation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing automation projects across various process plants. Your expertise in machine automation, process automation, water treatment plant automation, and electrical maintenance will drive our projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet all technical and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: a) Lead the design and implementation of automation systems for process plants, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards (GAMP 5, IS-88). b) Manage the entire project lifecycle according to PMO principles, including requirement gathering, design specification, development, testing, and FAT. c) Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability building within the team. d) Liaise with marketing and sales teams to support business development efforts through technical expertise and product knowledge. e) Handling of Trunkey projects from Enquiry Design review , Pre-Engineering costing,

f) Finalization of Vendors for Per & Post Engineering. g) Review of URS to understand Client requirement & Compliance with our products. h) Software Development Life cycle monitoring for New product (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) with SCADA and DCS system like GE , Siemens, Zenon and Emerson Delta V etc. i) Responsible for over all project cycle and release of Automation and Electrical controls. j) Involvement in Project Kickoff meeting, Project Co-ordination with Project Team and internal team, periodic review of projects, participating in CFAT. k) Formulation of objectives/Goals, and targets for the subordinates. Monitors performance against these targets. l) Supporting On-going Projects in Installation and commissioning stage. m) Addressing Customer Complaints and offer Technical Support related Controls n) Maintain quality standards of all deliverables and development of Master database for Products related to Automation. Qualifications Required

 

Qualifications Required: a. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field. b. A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in automation engineering within the Pharma, Food, Feed, and Fine Chemical industries. c. Proven expertise in PLC programming, SCADA software development, defining control system architecture and control philosophy and managing DCS systems. d. Familiarity with industry compliance and standards (GAMP 5, IS-88, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11). e. Knowledge IIOT 4.0, Integrated solutions, Batch Process as per ISA 88 std, Communication Protocol. f. Knowledge Electrical and Control Designing, Instrumentation, SCADA Software Development, P and ID. Skills Required

 

Skills Required: a. Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. b. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. c. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively in a team environment. d. Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and EPLAN. e. Good English language proficiency. f. Intercultural competence and willingness to work in India with the German engineering team, as well within Asia
