Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Leader to join our HR team in an individual contributor role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing employee relations, labour laws, compliance management, and a strong background in the engineering/manufacturing industry. This role involves handling complex labour issues, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and regular travel to various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, promoting a positive workplace culture.

Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts promptly and effectively.

Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Labour Laws and Compliance:

Stay updated on labour laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Ensure company compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.

Develop and maintain company policies and procedures in line with labour laws.

Site Visits:

Regularly visit different company sites to assess and manage employee relations and compliance.

Collaborate with site managers and HR teams to address site-specific issues.

Conflict Resolution:

Mediate and resolve employee disputes and conflicts in a fair and impartial manner.

Provide guidance to management on handling complex employee relations issues.

Policy Development:

Work with HR Operations Manager to develop and update HR policies and procedures.

Ensure policies are consistent with labour laws and industry standards.

Training and Development:

Conduct training sessions for employees and management on labour laws, compliance, and best practices.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.

13-16 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and labour laws.

Thorough knowledge of labour laws, compliance requirements, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Willingness to travel to various company sites as needed.
