Job Description:

The position is responsible to perform day to day Commercial and Commercial accounting activities in close coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities (Indicate 4-8 Key Deliverables for this position)

 

 

1.      Ensure day to day commercial activities are performed smoothly in timely & accurate manner with full compliance to support business growth

a.      Ensure timely and accurate Sales Order creation, booking, billing, cost recognition, export documentation in SAP within agreed turnaround time (TAT) and accuracy

b.      Negotiation with banks including LCs and follow up with Banks for EBRC upload and ensure closure in EDPMS and foreign trade compliances

c.      Regular reconciliation to avoid any revenue leakage

d.      Commercial accounting of day to day transactions

e.      Keeping close watch on Government policies/ regulatory developments impacting business environment and ensure timely realization of Export incentives / benefits

f.       Close Coordination with internal and external stakeholders

2.      Support Commercial Manager on day to day basis for smooth functioning and decision making -

a.      Review of monthly Selling price, MAT Cost and any other cost movement trend and provide heads up to the leader

b.      Timely generation of quality operational reports e.g. Unfilled Orders and billing plan, Sales and Margin analysis, etc

c.      Standardization of Product category, codes / subcodes and SKUs to make Costing Dashboard effective for dynamic decision making

d.      Closely planning and driving timely billing in coordination with Procurement and manufacturing team 

 

3.      Business Process Excellence, Automation and standardization of processes & Reports 

a.      Continuous looking for business process improvements opportunities and proactive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity standards.

b.      Continuous efforts to reduce working capital requirements and reduce operational cost

c.      Compliances to the local government regulations and internal DOA / Policy compliance

4.      Logistics / Supply Chain -

a.      Planning and execution of day to day with good coordination with logistics / factory team

b.      Liaison with CHA/Freight forwards/shipping companies/port authorities / customs etc

c.      Day to day tracking of planned vs actual dispatches 

d.      Upto date Dashboards to keep track of shipments, delivery time, cost and efficiency

e.      Close coordination with Sales, Procurement, factories and suppliers for smooth logistics support  

f.       Comply with different laws, regulations and other requirements

5.      Assist in Internal & external auditing

6.      Cater to Adhoc requests from supervisor.
