Oversee operations. Monitor Raw material and packaging material receipts,
Oversee checking of raw materials and packaging materials compliance to
specifications, Incoming truck conditions, approved lot verification. Sensory testing of
pulp during usages. Pouches testing for compression tet under simulated production
conditions.
Check storage conditions and temperatures for all RM and PM

Activities

Batch preparation,
Pasteurization

Oversee manufacturing operations such as conversion of RM into semi finished goods
and to finished goods. Before starting manufacturing operations, pl. verify all
preoperative such as CIP of the line euiqpmnet is conducted just before starting
production with right combination of time and temperature for caustic and acid
Beverage batch preparation - Ensure all ingredients are verified for weight, sensory
before adding into Simple syrup quantity as per batch card
Pulp samples from sealed or WIP containers are tested for sensory parameters
through a sensoy testing panel with minimum two cross functional person.
Use of pulp / juices only after sensory testing.
Quality parameters testing for semi finished beverage and releasing the batch for
pasteurization.
Monitor pasteurization process for forward and return temperature, validate the temp
setting for every flavor. Verify whether the divert valve is functioning as per set
values for temp.

Filling, capping and
packing and FG testing
Oversee filling operations (Minimize the Defects& Improve the performance)
Verify net contents for all filling valves, check capping operations to ensure that no
cross cap or loose cap defect being generated from capping.
Date coding verification
Verify PPT tunnel temperature and cooling temperature, initiate corrective actions
whenever needs
FG testing - Monitor FG testing parameters and ensure that out of specifications FG is
not being manufactured at any conditions

Interlock verifications

Physical verification of all interlocks on daily basis as below
1. Spouting temp and time interlock
2. Spouting air pressure
3. Pasteurizer temperature
4. Filling temp
5. Rinse water pressure
6. Nitrogen pressure
If no interlocks are working, then immediate corrective actions needs to be initiated
with intimation to quality corporate team

resources and technology

Manage IT Facilities GMP conditions

Oversee and ensure GMP conditions are maintained for all RM, Packaging material,
Concentrate and finished goods storage areas.
All manufacturing areas, shop floor, syrup room, filling room, spouting room, various
equipments such as filler PPT, cooling tunnel, syrup tanks, pasteurizer are maintained
in good conditions without any off odor/smell, no mold growth etc. All these area
and equipment are cleaned regularly

Partial GMP audit score to be more that 99 % in
surprise audits by corporate quality team

Manpower control,
training and
development
Ensure that only trained and certified manpower is deployed for critical areas such as
spouting, strip feeding and final packing with respect to casual labour intake
Conduct the briefing with spouting and strip feeding and packing team for Do's and
Don't.
Train and develop manufacturing and quality team for operations, various testing,
conducting RCA for quality issues, Internal audit etc
Share feedback from consumer complaints to all stake holders including the lowest
person in the manufacturing team

Full No quality defect generation due to use of non
certified manpower, lack of training etc
