Job Description:

We are seeking an organized and efficient School Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our administrative team at Brilliant Public School. The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and optimizing human resources functions to support the school's mission and ensure the well-being and development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain personnel records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in alignment with educational regulations.
  • Support the performance management process, including evaluations and professional development plans for staff.
  • Administer employee benefits and address staff inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional development and training opportunities for staff.
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as labor union agreements if applicable.
  • Prepare reports and maintain HR data for decision-making and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and department heads to address staffing needs and organizational development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in human resources, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR management software and Microsoft Office applications.
