Hiring for Sales Head

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
 Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
 Lead, motivate, and coach a team of regional sales managers and store-level sales
staff in Maharashtra and Goa.
 Oversee all aspects of the sales process, ensuring a seamless and positive customer
experience.
 Develop and implement effective sales training programs to continuously improve
team performance.
 Analyse sales data and identify trends to inform strategic decision-making.
 Manage and optimize inventory levels across all JGP Jewellers stores in
Maharashtra and Goa in conjunction with our merchandizing team
 Collaborate with the marketing and merchandizing teams to develop sales-driven
promotions.
 Build strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications:
 Minimum 12-15 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within the retail
jewellery industry
 Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
 Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) principles.
 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
 Ability to coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
 Analytical mind with a strong understanding of sales data interpretation.

 Around 30 - 50% travel will be required to store locations
 In-depth knowledge of the Indian jewellery market.

Language Fluency: Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is required.
