The Senior Manager for Dealer Development will be responsible for managing and expanding the dealership network, fostering relationships with existing dealers, and executing strategies to enhance sales and service performance. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and operational expertise to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Dealer Network Expansion: • Identify potential areas for dealership expansion and devise strategies to penetrate those markets. • Develop and implement plans to onboard new dealerships, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives. • Evaluate and negotiate dealership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  2. Dealer Performance Enhancement: • Analyze dealership performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance sales and service quality. • Collaborate with dealerships to develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives that align with corporate goals. • Monitor and support the implementation of training programs to enhance dealership staff capabilities.
  3. Relationship Management: • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing dealerships, serving as the primary point of contact. • Address dealer concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high level of satisfaction among dealer partners. • Organize regular meetings, workshops, and training sessions to foster communication and collaboration.
  4. Market Analysis and Strategy: • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform dealership strategies. • Develop and recommend innovative strategies to improve dealership profitability and market share. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align dealership strategies with overall company objectives.
  5. Process Improvement: • Identify inefficiencies in dealership operations and develop and implement process improvement initiatives. • Regularly assess and optimize dealership processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:

• B.Tech/ BE and MBA (Sales & Marketing).

• Training or certifications related to automotive sales and dealership management.

• Certifications in sales methodologies or CRM software can be beneficial.
