Job Title: Navision/Dynamics Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Navision/Dynamics Accountant to join our finance team. As a Navision/Dynamics Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing financial processes using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision). Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Navision system, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation and Maintenance:

   • Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in collaboration with IT and other relevant departments.
   • Customize and configure Navision to align with the organization's accounting and financial reporting requirements.
   • Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the system operates effectively.

2. Financial Reporting:

   • Generate and analyze financial reports using Navision to support decision-making processes.
   • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

3. General Accounting:

   • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
   • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

4. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to streamline processes and improve overall financial performance.
   • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.

5. Training and Support:

   • Provide training and support to finance and non-finance staff on the effective use of Navision.
   • Address and resolve user issues, escalating to IT when necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:

   • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.

2. Experience:

   • Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision.
   • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

3. Skills:

   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   • Attention to detail and accuracy.

4. Technical Proficiency:

   • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision.
   • Familiarity with other ERP systems is a plus.
