Job Description:

Position – Sr Marketplace Manager (Amazon)

What’s the role
• Optimize our presence on Amazon and other marketplace.
• Ensure the profitability of our e-commerce operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize Amazon's Seller Central, Amazon Pi, and other analytics tools to extract valuable insights
from sales data, campaign performance, and customer behaviour.

- Generate regular reports and communicate key findings to the team to drive informed decision-
making.

2. Amazon Sales Growth:
- Develop strategies to maximize sales on Amazon, including product launches, pricing optimization,
and promotions.
- Collaborate with performance marketers to leverage Amazon Campaign Manager for advertising
campaigns.
3. Category Dominance:
- Lead efforts to rank our products among the top 3 in their respective categories on Amazon.in.
- Oversee marketplace sales growth in coordination with the marketplace management team.
4. Listing Optimization:
- Manage all aspects of Amazon listing optimization, including SEO, listing content, and visual
assets.
- Find innovative ways to increase customer reviews and ratings.
5. Profit & Loss Ownership:
- Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the entire marketplace operations.
- Develop and execute product-wise monthly business plans to ensure profitability.
6. Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze market trends and customer demand to predict product demand.
- Provide stock projections for upcoming months to align with the product team's requirements.
7. Customer Satisfaction:
- Identify and address issues related to returns and negative reviews promptly.
- Strive to enhance the customer experience and product quality.
8. Product Sourcing:
- Recommend new products to source within the category based on market research and trends.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in successfully managing Amazon sales.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Amazon analytics tools.
- Proven track record of optimizing product listings and driving sales growth.
- Excellent understanding of Amazon's platform and policies.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
