Job Description:

Process Coordinator Job Duties

  • Process coordinators have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
  • Acting as a liaison between project managers and other team members, such as engineers or designers, to ensure that projects are moving along smoothly
  • Reviewing work orders to ensure that they have been completed correctly and offering feedback to the employee who performed the work
  • Monitoring budgets, timesheets, and work schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time
  • Coordinating with vendors to obtain materials needed for projects, including ordering supplies or equipment and scheduling deliveries
  • Organizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Coordinating with clients or customers to determine specifications for projects and communicating these requirements to the appropriate team members
  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure that materials are delivered on time
  • Providing support for other staff members by answering questions about procedures or policies
  • Monitoring work quality to ensure that it meets company standards

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Identifies and constructs on a prioritized basis, process maps/workflows for major processes within the Operations department. 
  2. Analyses processes by comparing to best practices and identifies inefficiencies.
  3. Develops new processes to reduce complexity and bottlenecks, eliminate redundancies and maximize efficiency.
  4. Coordinates and consults with process owners to develop and implement new processes using a common approach. This will require interviews with members of staff and facilitating workshops to gain insights into existing processes. 
  5. Designs and provides metrics linked to business goals to support the implementation and application of work processes.
  6. Assist with the development of annual work plans and propose budgetary estimates of activities required to support the function.
  7. Provides training to increase awareness on the systems being used for process improvement, therefore, demonstrating value and gaining buy-in from the organization.
