Job Description:
We are looking for a senior engineer to do DevSecOps work on our cloud Infrastructure and Security team. This is a hands-on position with daily coding/scripting, writing and refactoring existing code. Besides project work there is an operational component to the job to support our Engineering organization and our whole company.
What you will do
- You will report directly to the Cloud Infrastructure and Security lead and work with a small globally distributed team
- Automate and secure our infrastructure from clouds to endpoints, build tooling to enhance development velocity
- Work daily with Microsoft Azure, use tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, ansible, GitHub actions, etc…
Core Competencies (must have)
- Demonstrated programming/scripting experience in at least one of python, bash.
- At least 5 years in a DevSecOps, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations position
- At least 2 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience (app service, azure front door, application gateway, function apps, azure postgresql flexible server, azure cache for redis, azure VMs)
- In-Depth experience with Terraform (Terragrunt experience is a big plus), creating reusable modules for complex infrastructures spanning multiple environments
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with setting up logging/monitoring/alerts in a Microsoft Auzre, using Infrastructure as Code.Demonstrated experience working with developing and maintaining a large infrastructure codebase that can scale with the growth of the company's technological footprint
- Solid experience with Github Actions preferred and understanding of its security considerations and best practices
