Technical Oversight - Machine Shop:

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the machine shop, including traditional machining and heat treatment processes.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate execution of machining and heat treatment operations.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to technicians to troubleshoot and resolve machining and heat treatment-related issues.

Heat Treatment Management:

• Oversee the heat treatment process, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards to achieve desired material properties.

• Collaborate with metallurgical and materials engineering teams to determine appropriate heat treatment parameters for different materials.

• Monitor and control heat treatment equipment to achieve consistent and precise results.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians, machinists, and operators to enhance their skills and performance.

Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring proper utilization of resources and manpower.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety regulations and best practices within the machine shop.

Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure proper training for the team members.
