Job Description:

Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our manufacturing equipment, including blowers, molding machines, labelers, and related systems. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in minimizing downtime, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, coupled with effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

? Install, commission, and service PET preforms, bottles, and caps manufacturing equipment at customer sites, ensuring accurate setup and calibration.
? Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure consistent machinery performance and adherence to quality standards.
? Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
? Collaborate closely with customers to understand their operational needs, address concerns, and provide technical guidance.
? Train customer personnel on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
? Maintain comprehensive service documentation, including maintenance reports, service logs, and spare parts inventory.
? Work collaboratively with internal technical support and engineering teams to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
? Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
? Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance service delivery.
? Travel to customer locations as required, ensuring prompt response to service requests and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
? Proven field service experience of 4-7 years in PET preforms, bottles, and caps manufacturing machinery, including blowers, molding machines, and labelers.
? In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical components.
? Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems.
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
? Customer-focused mindset with the ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships.
? Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites and work flexible hours as needed.
? Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
? Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to company policies.
