Job Description:

Role:

To manage entire mechanical maintenance function of the plant including Predictive, Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of equipment/machinery. Manage Installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery for existing and new projects.

Job Description:

1. Formulating strategic plans to enhance OEE Overall Equipment Efficiency by minimising equipment breakdown time, Automation and Optimum utilization of resources.
2. Implement and manage Predictive, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance schedule &systems.
3. Installation and commissioning of machine and equipments, Testing of pressure vessels & pressure gauges etc. Design and execute projects for automation and re layouts.
4. Fabrication of Structural Support, Dryer & Air Shifter Cyclone, Bag filter, Dust/Fibre/Chip Silos, Tanks, Ducts, Hoppers, and various chambers.
5. Maintenance of Mechanicalequipment i.e., Hydraulic Press Machines, Conveyors, Gearsi.e. bevel, helical, Pumps i.e. centrifugal, single state, multistage water/oil pumps, Blowers, Steel & Rubber Conveyers, Chain & Bucket Elevators, Cranes, Forklifts, Compressors, Cooling Towers, Boilers& Furness, Effluent Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant, Chillers, AHUs, HVAC, Fire Hydrant etc.
6. Ensure safety mechanisms are installed & maintained on all equipment/machinery.
7. Conduct root-cause analyses of breakdowns, accidents, equipment failures through Pareto & Why- Why analysis and implement the solutions to avoid recurrence of incidence.
8. Plan & manage inventory of consumables & equipment spares. Coordinate with procurement team and equipment suppliers for finalizing specifications of machine/equipment.
9. Manage ISO 9001-2000, ISO 14001, 5 S & Safety standards for entire maintenance function.
10. Managing entire maintenance team, assign targets and keep track on progress against targets by analysing daily reports and data base.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech Mechanical

Experience:

• 15-20yearsof experience in maintenance function in manufacturing plants of continuous process industryi.e. Paint, Chemical, Ceramic Tiles, Glass etc.
• Candidates having working exposure in Plywood/Engineering wood/Medium Density Fibreboard/Laminates manufacturing industry will be preferred.
