Product Manager – Weldy

Job Description:

MAIN ACTIVITIES
• Creation and implementation of a future-oriented product strategy
• Management of the strategic product roadmap and the product feature set
• Holistic product lifecycle management
• Responsible for strategic market development plans
• Management of go-to-market of new products
Functions:
• To work very closely with all stake holders in the market – Dealers, end users, Sales Professionals to understand
their requirements from the product
• To analyse the data collected from the different stake holders
• Evaluating the product idea and then putting it through a feasibility study taking into consideration all the data
gathered from the market
• Steering the complete product development cycle from ideation, product definition, prototyping, design
acceptance,validation & testing and commercialisation.
• Developing a business plan to exihbit the product’s chances in the market
• Work closely with the plant (Weldy India or Weldy China) to transfer the information gathered from the market as
product ideas into an actual product
• Be involved in the design and development of the product
• Launch the product in the market in a professional manner with a clear go to market plan for each product
• Life cycle management of the product
• Serve as the bridge between the sales,marketing teams and the manufacturing plant
