Position:            Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager- Procurement

Location:           Sachin - Surat

Experience:       8 – 10 Years

Industries:        Chemical

  • Stores & Inventory
  • To ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, condition of the materials received from vendors.
  • Coordinate to maintains inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries to meet customer timelines.
  • Resolution of Vendor's conflict after receipt of material at site.
  • Coordination for all Non-Slow-moving materials including RGPs for repairing/modification.
  • Standardization of consumables
  • People Management
  • Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate the exchange of information in order to implement change and improvements
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and demands in a pressurized work environment across multiple authorities
  • An adaptable and supportive team player with the ability to work with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to lead a project team to achieve a common goal.

  • Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with SOPs to ensure timely delivery and Cost-effectiveness.
  • Vendor Selection & Management
  • Manage vendor timelines — keeping things on schedule
  • Evaluate, shortlist partners and conduct strategic negotiations with them
  • Track Vendor performance and conduct timely reviews to ensure quality, timelines and budgetary considerations; Address instances of non-performance of Partner.
  • Manage any disputes that arise between vendor and company, facilitating productive dialogue and improved relationship
  • Purchase Technology & Analytics
  • Must have hands-on-experience to operating, understanding and manage procurement digital technology platforms to match company's requirement & guidelines.
  • Enable to gain market information, costs and risk management assessments by doing research on new suppliers or companies before making purchasing decisions on new materials.
  • Drive towards result by sharing learnings from a statistical analysis with applications for other team members
  • Ensure to analyze supplier performance to minimize disruption
  • Able to deliver cost savings with procurement analytics
  • Reduce sourcing risks with increased insight into supplier performance
  • Financial Budget and Control
  • To monitor Capital Expenditure proposals & budget of all projects as well as ensure compliance with customer and legal requirements till completion of projects.
