Job Description:

Qualification: Preferably Post Graduate (MBA) or Ph.D. will be an added advantage
Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience and at least 8 to 10 years of experience in heading and effectively running educational institutions.
Location: Pune
Salary can be reviewed based on the suitability of the candidate

Key Responsibilities:
1) Ensure the quality and efficient delivery of academic programs
2) Advisory & supervisory role in institution finance, accounting and legal affairs
3) Provides guidance to administrative and management staff in budget development, preparation, monitoring and management
4) Ensure effective delivery of programs as per the objects mentioned in the Trust Deed
5) Develop plans along with the Management in strategic planning for Management body & its institutions
6) Develop, implement and oversee procedures within the Management and institutes that support internal control regarding fiscal management including, but not limited to: budget preparation, expense authorization, and reconciliation of institute accounts, internal and statutory audit processes
7) Ensuring effective control and use of resources at all levels
8) Leadership & management of the entire institution staff, ensuring appropriate recruitment and selection, support, direction, performance management and learning and development for all employees (as per the guidelines of Government and constitution of Institute Management)
9) Responsible for monitoring faculty performance and using evaluative data to drive improvement and results relative to faculty engagement
10) Presenting periodical reports about the state of affairs of the institutes to the Senate and highlight the areas of priority
11) Work for Internationalization / National Collaborations in the field of academics
12) Fundraising from Corporate, alumni, foundations and individuals
13) Develop an appropriate team – high on delivery

To instill a culture of continuous improvement and promote high standards of excellence across all areas.
To develop and implement, in association with the management and approval of the Board, an annual & a long term strategic plan that will set the direction of the institution

2. Key Skills:
Needs to have a proven track record of Handling operations of reputed University / educational institutions
Understanding of legal matters in Charitable / Educational institutions
Experience of dealing with different stakeholders in Government
Needs to have a proven track record of Handling operations of reputed University / educational institutions
Strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence, effectively manage and lead others
Strategic thinker
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to and embrace continuous change
