Network Engineer

Establish and maintain network performance by building net configurations and connections.

Responsibilities:

·       Ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of in-house information voice, data, video and

·       Wireless network services.

·       Troubleshoot network problems.

·       Plan, design and develop local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.

·       Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimisation of all network

·       hardware, software and communication links. 

·       Analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems within an adequte timeframe.

·       Provide end user training, where required.

·       Identity and access management, as and when required:

·       Respect guidelines  as established in the IAM policy and related procedures when dealing with access to applications, systems and any data required to utilisation of organisational tools by business departments

Compliance

·       Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by Coface and external regulators.

IT Security:

·       Adhere and respect the IT Security policies continuously.

·       Ensure that all employees and providers when relevant are aware of and understand their personal responsibilities to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data they access.

Other responsibilities include:

·       Follow corporate standard to perform network monitoring

·       Provide on-going support and advice on network administration, emergency maintenance service when necessary support the implementation of the infrastructure project.

·       To manage the inventory control of network equipment. 

·       Support in-house Service System, VOIP, PABX and Network Systems

·       BCP planning and conducting annual DR test

·       Working closing with Regional and Group BT department

·       Support ad hoc projects

·       Shape the Network Security Policy into a policy specific to their own subsidiary

·       Ensure the security and integrity of data systems and data network across the entire organization

Skil Set:

·       Proven hands-on network engineering experience

·       Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS & MPSL)

·       Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model

·       Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
