Sr. Web Developer (TL)

Job Description:

1. Writing readable, optimized and manageable PHP/HTML/CSS/JS code that results in an
optimized solution and ensuring that your juniors do it well too.
2. Helping/teaching/guiding/leading a team to get unstuck when they are stuck.
3. Planning the project charter (list of activities with dates) and getting it done using your
teammates; co-ordinating with the Operations team (project manager, business analyst)
where necessary.
4. Building solutions and projects in a CMS environment (primarily WordPress)
5. Debugging and resolving frontend and backend errors (using server logs to your benefit)
6. Testing, deploying and documenting your work. Being a master at mobile responsive
development!
7. Providing informal and formal feedback to your juniors.
8. Constantly learning, being inspired by the latest happenings in web development, inspiring
your team and growing towards a Technical Architect role at KraftPixel
9. Exercising high ownership and accountability as an integral part of your career
at KraftPixel and gaining the cooperation of your reportees for the same

1. Minimum 3+ year working experience of
WordPress backend (code-level) and frontend
development or any other PHP-based
framework
2. Excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS
and PHP
3. Above-average experience with Javascript
4. Above-average experience with debugging;
and using performance testing suites such as
Google PageSpeed Insights to optimize.
5. Great googling & problem solving skills
6. Some team management skills.
7. Good English speaking and writing skills.
