Job Description:

Position Overview
Define position overview. Cloud Engineer – L3 role will be responsible for new implementations, managing existing multiple
production environments. Co-ordinates with the various teams (both internal and external) to execute the project plans and
follow up till successful closure in line with agreed timeline. Responsible for managing team of Cloud Operations (L1 and L2) and
their deliverables as per roles and responsibilities defined to each. Monitoring the Infra and optimizing the resources for better
performance and cost savings. Assisting on the compliance requirements (FedRamp, PCI, ISO). The individual must first
understand the operations of the company at the present time, research and recommend positive changes, and manage the
steps required to make the improvements.
? Implementation and Managing the Production environment.
? Automation and optimization for the Production work loads.
? Build and maintain a strong working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders
? Collaborate and work cross-functionally along with development team in activities to meet business
goals.
? Effectively manage team effort and improve delivery timeline while meeting targets agreed.

? Working closely with Architecture, Development, Test, Security and IT Services teams
Installing, configuring, and maintaining Continuous Integration & plugins and integrating
with the platform.
? Service Desk, Change Management, Asset Management, Service Level Management,
Knowledge Management, Service Request Management (SRM) and CMDB
administration.
? Team Management – Team Activities, Trainings, Roaster
? Process – ITIL, ISMS, ISO, GDPR, PCI, FedRamp
? Documentation – KB Articles, Process, Policies, procedure, RCA author and review
? Planned Activities / Scheduled Activities - Approval
? Escalation Handling

Qualifications & Experience

? Bachelor’s/Masters computer science, or related field
? 3-5 years of previous AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins experience.
? 6-8 years of overall experience in infrastructure, preferably in Cloud environments.
? Advanced knowledge of Linux and Troubleshooting
? Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
? Good experience in creating project plan and execution with success
? Compliance requirement like ISO, PCI and FedRamp

Skills:
? Mandatory Skills

? Very strong understanding on Linux based operating systems to automate various
processes. (CentOS / RHEL)
? Understanding and troubleshooting the Apache and PHP issues
? Advanced knowledge on Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Git repository.
? Should have hands-on administration experience with public Cloud Platforms such as
AWS / Azure. Advanced skills working with ECR, ECS and EKS.
? Monitoring skills – APM, Prometheus
? Centralized logging and management (Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash (ELK & EFK))
? Good understanding of concepts like Routing, Load Balancing, Redundancy, Disaster
Recover, VPN, Firewalls, etc.
? Application Middleware platforms such as Apache, Tomcat, IIS, NGINX, NodeJS etc.
? Should be able to provision, administer and troubleshoot most services on Cloud
Platforms for networking, compute and storage which include provisioning and
managing Cloud Managed Services such as Managed Databases, Caching Engines, and
Load Balancers.
? Should have experience with command line or API integration with Cloud Service
Provider APIs.
? Should have excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with
internal and external executives, IT management, and technical teams including
software development groups.
? Experience in building, testing, and deploying applications in cloud-based platforms.
? Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, LB, HTTP, IP, Firewall, etc) is also desirable to build
the Microservices platform
? Knowledge on JSON format & webservices is highly desirable.

? Additional Skills

? Databases knowledge including NoSQL & RDBMS (MySQL and MSSQL) is good to have.
? Knowledge on IAM products like Keycloak, Azure Directory, ADFS etc
? Core infrastructure components such as DNS, LDAP, LDAP Integration, E-Mail Service.
? Should have automation skills with one or more automation platforms such as Bash,
PowerShell, Python, Ansible, groovy, Cloud formation, and Terraform or any other
industry used tool.
? Patch Management – Update / Rollback
? Knowledge on API Gateway products is desirable.
