Sr. Program Manager
Job Description:
This position manages complex, strategic projects that span organizational boundaries. Program Manager should have experience managing multiple projects, including existing product platforms as well new product development spanning multiple product portfolios. This position will manage multiple project managers whose projects provide specific deliverables; which must collectively provide the desired results.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and direct multiple medium to large-scale projects. • Translate generalized product goals into concrete strategy and tactical plans. • Work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors to achieve best results. • Exercise judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to developmethods, techniques. • Work effectively with internal and external teams, third party vendors, and senior management in accomplishing project objectives. • Evaluate complex situations accurately and identifies viable solutions that create successful outcomes.
- Work closely with the CEO & CTO to facilitate decisions necessary for program delivery. • Oversee effective project oversight and reviews to effect program success. • Develop and maintain “lessons-learned” inputs to the project repository for utilization on future programs initiated by the enterprise. • Resolve political, resource, budgeting, change, and legal issues affecting the program. • Serves as a mentor/advisor/decision-maker to project managers for the program for issues related to architecture, project delivery, project quality, project risk, etc.. • Oversee management of team, create the right resources and train and develop• Oversee execution and delivery of projects related to successful program execution.

· Technical knowledge with prior experience in delivery products or multiple products · Exposure in the AL / ML environment having successfully developed products that are launched and successful in the market. · Ability to bring in the innovation component to the project teams · Architect, design and conceptualize an idea into a viable product · Capability to bring in the best technology to the product engineering teams, trends and methodologies to the engineering function. · Use the right tools and techniques in tracking projects, quality management, testing etc.

Engineering Graduate from a reputed college / university. A PMI certification will be great to have. Certifications in Java Technologies, AL / ML will be wonderful to have.

· 15-20 yrs. in program management / large projects · Experience inworking for a product company · Have managed large programs, product delivery etc · Global experience especially in the US or Europe preferred · Had played roles as project manager, architect, analysts · Should have managed highly skilled teams |
