Hiring of Sr Designer-Bedding with Home Furnishing Company for Mumbai

Job Description:

• a)Should be thorough with programs like Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop etc. to develop a range of TOB suggestions and color ways.
• b)Should be able to study customer mood-boards and propose appropriate design solutions.
• c)Should have good communication, writing and analytical skills (to analyze data) & also strong technical knowledge of bedding fabrics.
• d)Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design, fashion trends in textiles by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources, textile editor brand research (visiting sites and other sources of ideas for designs) and production as well as special stitching techniques.
• e)Proposing concepts, designs, digital presentations and samples for presenting to customers and team.
• f)Ensuring that projects are completed on time.
• g)Liaising with clients, technical team (factory and costing) and marketing team to plan and develop designs & samples.
• h)Accurately interpreting and representing client ideas.
• i)Assessing and approving completed projects and production standards.
• j)Working independently, as well as, liaising closely with colleagues as part of a team.
• k)Experimenting with fabric, texture, trims and colors.
• l)Developing new design/collection concepts.
• m)Sourcing fabrics, trims and other materials from wherever needed.

             Desired Candidate Profile

 A textile design degree (preferably from NID or NIFT) that goes into the detail of designing all kinds of textile substrate bedding designing.

1.    Min 3-4yrs of experience in bedding designing
2. Should be comfortable with computers software like Photoshop, Coral-draw, Illustrator, Knowledge of yarns and to develop a range of TOB suggestions and color ways.
