Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for packaging development of new and existing products from conceptualization to commercial production with respect to innovative packaging design, functionality, operational feasibility transport worthiness, aesthetics & cost effectiveness.
- Research of New innovative technology & benchmarking of several products to know the current trends in respective product / SKU.
- Project monitoring & inter-departmental coordination with Marketing, Purchase and Supply Chain as well as with vendor in rolling out new projects & ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Involvement Project Planning & Monitoring status, updating it to HOD on regular basis.
- Packaging component trials & Training of work-force at factory during implementation of projects, issuing technical working / packing guidelines.
- Analysing & Resolving quality complaints w.r.t packaging material by doing RCA.
- Ideation & implementation of various Innovative, cost saving & quality improvement projects.
- Preparing Packaging material Specifications, BOM, SOPs. & Test methods.
- Involvement in vendor development & vendor audit.
- Involvement in development of prototype, pilot mould and commercial moulds.
- Working on SAP, project management system, online Specifications & Artwork systems.
- Artwork dimensions finalisation & checking for various packaging materials.
- Compatibility studies for new product along with various options of packaging materials & packs.
