Support engineer with good experience of providing level4 (Monitoring, debugging, troubleshooting as well code fixing) support of a Java Web Application. Person should also be ready to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.
Mandatory Skills:
- Core Java skills, Basic PL/SQL skills, Exposure of working on any Java Web Application (Debugging, troubleshooting and bug fixing)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Good to have skills (As per order)
- REST Webservices
- Spring MVC
- Experience of using ELK
- Roles & Responsibilities of the resource
- Providing development layer support by debugging, troubleshooting and resolving production incident
- Monitoring of the application using the provided monitors and dashboard
- Working in shifts (Including weekends and holidays)
- Problem fixes – Working on code fixes by following best development practices and guidelines
- Automation of manual work by developing tools
- Joining the incident bridge as team’s representative, understanding the problem and direction, providing the direction for team for any dependencies and helping with resolving incident within defined SLA
- Documentation of knowledgebase
- Updating the incident and tickets with relevant details in the Incident Management tool as per defined incident management process
