Job Description:
- Technical competence
- Well-versed in many Scholastic-accepted technologies, including Amazon AWS technologies, Unix, Java, SQL, Spring (including Spring Boot), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, JSON, REST API development, Solr, Maven, Swagger, Jenkins, Cucumber/Gherkin, Source Code Management tools (esp. Git) / Bitbucket
- Adept at design, development and testing using best practices (CI, CCO, ATDD, BDD)
- Implement unit tests, integration tests, acceptance tests for all the requirements using junit, Mockito, Spring Boot Tests, Behavior driven frameworks and ensure code coverage is met with in the defined limits.
- Programmatic integration with cloud based services for logs like Sumo Logic. Create Sumo Collectors, endpoints, alerts, warnings, notifications, reports per requirement basis for all modules/applications.
- Use maven as a build tool and manage artifacts with authorized, secure organizational artifactory for snapshots and releases
- Extensive experience designing and developing applications for scalability and reliability
- Using swagger ui to list down the application related services.
- Developing and re-factoring code for high performance, scalability and security
- Experience with API design, development, and evolution
