Project Role : Application Support Engineer  Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Must have Skills : Sybase Database, No Function Specialization  Good to Have Skills :    Job Requirements : Key Responsibilities : 1:Hands on experience in planning, prioritization, estimation of work requests/enhancements and deliver the major/minor releases as per the defined methodology 2:Strong candidates with good POWERBUILDER and Sybase ASE  skills  3:The candidate should have strong PowerBuilder, experience with Power Builder Foundation Classes and in extending Power Builder Foundation classes  Technical Experience : 1: Perform technical design, development, testing and deployment of IT software within the business portfolio Additionally, candidate needs to have strong RDBMS/Sybase including ability to write and debug SQL 2 Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and deliver practical solutions while taking multiple agendas into account  Professional Attributes : 1 :Strong communication and ability to interact with team members spread out globally as well as with users of the application is a must  Educational Qualification: A : Minimum of 15 years full time education
