Sr Manager – Accounts & Taxation

Job Description:

• Accounts/Auditing:
• Overall responsible for Accounts, monthly closure of accounts with adequate provisioning.
• Ensuring compliance with procedures & manuals for the preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with time & accuracy norms.
• Ensure effective operation of accounting controls on GL, Invoice Processing, AR, FA, Bank Recos, Maker & checker controls, adequate documentation of accounting records, Party reconciliations, Payroll accounting & reconciliations.

• Closely working with auditors and ensuring preparation & finalization of the financial statements ensuring time and accuracy norms.
• Preparation of Accounts as per IGAAP & IFRS
• Coordinating & effectively closing various auditors viz Statutory, Internal, Tax, Revenue audits
• Work on costing aspects of the department

• Direct & Indirect Taxation

• Supporting with timely and accurate information and effective coordination with consultants for Filling of annual income tax return, Assessment of income tax, TP audits
• Compliance with TDS/TCS and other Tax requirements from accounting & filing perspective.
• Maintaining proper records/documents and workings to support various tax audits like GST, VAT, Excise etc.
• GST compliance – ensure adequate record keeping for future audits, ensuring timely filing of returns and related books and GSTN reconciliations.
• To address old assessment issues for VAT/Excise/LBT etc. To work with consultants and visit tax authorities for various matters.
