General Manager

Job Description:

As the General Manager - Civil Engineering at Sharda Infratech, you will lead our Civil Engineering Department, driving the planning, execution, and completion of our infrastructure projects. This critical role requires a unique combination of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction-related government regulations. The ideal candidate will have a distinguished history in managing a variety of civil engineering projects, with specialized knowledge in MIDC, roads, water sumps, drainage, and transmission projects, and a strong focus on liaison abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Direct the planning and execution of civil engineering projects to meet or exceed expectations in scope, timing, budget, and quality.
• Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Ensure strict adherence to all government construction regulations, leveraging exceptional liaison skills to navigate legal and regulatory environments, and foster strong relationships with government bodies, stakeholders, contractors, and clients.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the department's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in project delivery.
• Team Development: Mentor and cultivate a high-performing team, promoting an ethos of professional development, accountability, and excellence.
• Industry Engagement: Remain informed on industry trends, technological advances, and regulatory updates to ensure Sharda Infratech retains its competitive edge and adheres to best practices.
