Job Description:
  • Perform as Lead HVAC Systems Designer, Expertise with the Design of Datacenters and mission critical associated building based on Globally / Nationally accepted Codes and Standards.
  • Should have worked on Heat Load calculation through HAP Software.
  • Should have Design knowledge of High side and low side HVAC systems.
  • Determines the size of HVAC ducting, and preparation of ducting layout and conducts friction loss calculation of duct work.
  • Determines the size of water and chilled water piping, preparation of piping layout and conduct pump head calculations for the chilled water piping.
  • Understanding of alternate water type cooling systems.
  • Establish Systems for Bill of Materials / Quantity Take Off for Tender and operating projects.
  • Coordination with MEP design engineers and CSA SMEs to ensure quality compliance in accordance with client & owner expectations in most economical manner.
  • Responsible for review and check the vendor drawings for various equipment’s like Chiller, Pumps, Cooling Towers etc., and further low side items like Piping, ducting, Air distribution products etc., and Subcontractor shop drawings.
  • Reviews of suppliers’ documents and liaise with suppliers for technical inputs and inquiries.
  • Responsible for obtaining all approvals from Stack holders – Clients, Client representative, Consultant, Approval authorities.
  • QA/QC by visiting project sites for verifying and resolving all design related issues with sites.
  • Should be well versed with all software’s and use various digital tools.
  • As a Lead ELV and ICT system Engineer conducts and supports the delivery of designs & input exchange across discipline.
  • Thorough understanding of IP Packet flow, Layer 3 - IP and related technologies (ICMP, TCP, IPsec, GRE, QoS, VRRP), IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and Layer 2 technologies (desired)
  • Strong understanding of BMS and DCIM tools in datacenter industry
  • Overall responsibility for, design deliverables schedule specification and quantity, of all datacenter projects
  • Support execution process through timely finalization, approvals of drawings and designs so that project milestones are met
