GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
|
|
|
Project Manager (Electrical) -Electrical Project Managers oversee large, commercial electrical projects for an organization. They are responsible for managing staff, delegating tasks to team members, monitoring resources and overseeing the full scope of electrical construction and maintenance projects, would be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and supply of electrical systems. Day-to-day, you'd draw up schedules, allocate time, resource, and budget, as well as manage staff to ensure work is completed on time, to a high standard and safety.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES (According to Importance of Responsibility):
|
|
|
|
|
1. Ensure that Naqua policies, rules and regulation are implemented within his domain.
|
|
|
|
|
2. Understanding what company wants to achieve,Defining the technical requirements and feasibility of a project
|
|
|
|
|
3. Outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver an electrical operations project
|
|
|
|
|
4. Making sure the work follows strict health and safety guidelines
|
|
|
|
|
5. Complying with the National Grid and other regulators and managing grid connections
|
|
|
|
|
6. Developing step-by-step project plans
|
|
|
|
|
7. Leading a multi-disciplinary project teamLead day to day Design (where applicable) and construction management of significant elements of IBMS and electrical interface works on projects, including procurement, installation, and commissioning
|
|
|
|
|
8. Negotiating with designers, engineers, contractors and suppliers
|
|
|
|
|
9. Overseeing several aspects of a project at the same time ,Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
|
|
|
|
|
10. Sharing regular progress reports with the client and stakeholders
|
|
|
|
|
11. Resolving any issues or delays, Working in an office or onsite.
|
|
|
|
|
12. Develop and/or review electrical engineering technical specifications and bid documents for engineered equipment, materials engineering, and construction service contracts
|
|
|
|
|
13. Provides Electrical engineering support for manufacturing processes and equipment within the manufacturing facility by designing, specifying, purchasing and constructing mechanical systems and components
|
|
|
|
|
14. Prepares agendas, develops and maintains scope, business requirements, performance specifications, procurement strategy, safety plan, master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are me
|
|
|
|
|
15. Promote best practice and support & develop project team to maximise efficiency & effective deliver
|
|
|
|
|
16. Lead and support multi-discipline projects throughout the full project lifecycle from concept phase to final handover
|
|
|
|
|
17. Identify, analyze, and recommend corrective actions to technical issues identified in the field during project execution or initial operation
|
|
|
|
|
18. Strong leadership skills, including experience of leading teams and confidence in the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
|
|
|
|
|
|

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS & COMPETENCIES/TRAININGS REQUIRED BY THE JOB:

MANDATORY (Minimum Qualification) OR PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
|

Education
|
|
Bachelor’s degree/University Graduate with specialization in Process Electrical Engineering, EEE, Applied Electronics or Diploma related fieldGood understanding of HV and EHV electrical engineering theories and principles
|
|
|
Knowledge
|
|
Knowledge in managing, planning & production operations. General administration, Computer Application, GMP.
