• Candidates should possess demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and an ability to think logically and systematically in an efficient manner.
• Experienced in engineering modifications including additional I/O capacity and cabling and tie-in to existing systems.
• Knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and proficient in programming and interface configuration.
• Knowledge and application of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil and Gas Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.) and preferably also Saudi Aramco standards and working practices.
• Preparation of FAT & SAT procedures, reports and calibration, pre-commissioning & commissioning procedure.
• Provide technical and supervisory support, guidance, mentoring and managing the sub-contractor & construction team.
• Lead in the provision of engineering support & guidance during the construction & commissioning of projects.
• Sufficiently involved in field activities to assess and influence safety and quality and have a good understand of progress and productivity.
• Quickly identifying and elevating issues (safety, risk management, quality, schedule, cost) to the Construction Manager.
• Skills related to outage planning, organization and communication are highly desirable. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively throughout all levels within the organization.
• Continuously observe and monitor the interface of all construction activities for all disciplines, assist managing contractor in resolving any interface coordination issues
• Review of Method Statements, drawings, schedules, and other job safety documents.
• Monitors manpower, tools and equipment usage on the site.
• Monitors the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
• Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas.
• Assist managing contractor with monitoring of the execution of the works, to ensure project quality requirements and standards are met including monitoring of contractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s).
• Input into coordination of interface between Vendor and client.
• Assist in system walkdowns with contractor and client.
• Attend weekly project review / coordination meetings.
• Ensuring all site installation and modification on instrument cables are recorded on the single line diagrams.
• Liaise with projects organization to ensure owner’s requirements are met.
• Provide feedback to design team from actual project experience.
• Work closely with team, and sub-contractors to ensure the achievement of milestone completion. 
• Excellent construction site management skills.
• Excellent scheduling and contract management skills
• Collaborating with the subcontractors, inspectors, and other teams.

Qualification:

• BE/Diploma Instrumentation or Electronics & Communications.
• Experience with PLC, RTU and DCS configuration, programming, and testing.
• Experience in networking configuration of managed, Layer-3, Layer 2, switches & firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of field instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level, control valves, regulators, gas detectors etc. ) installation and commissioning.
• Packaged systems like flow metering, filtration, and pressure reducing skid & flow computer experience might be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of UPS, HVAC, transformers, Analyzer systems.
• Shall possess immense knowledge of industrial communications protocols like DNP3, Modbus,Profibus & Serial interface systems.
