Reviews and approves laboratory reports (internal commercial) for quality assurance, accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of data.
Assurance and safety issues especially sampling or analytical problems and use of laboratory chemicals, equipment, and supplies.

The laboratory results must be as accurate as possible, all aspects of the laboratory operations must be reliable, and reporting must be timely in order to be useful in a clinical or public health setting.
