Job Description:
Glaziers specialize in installing different glass products, such as insulated glass that retains warm or cool air and tempered glass that is less prone to breaking. In homes, glaziers install or replace glass items including windows, mirrors, shower doors, and bathtub enclosures.
Responsibilities:
- deciding if the damaged glass can be repaired, or needs to be replaced. repairing damaged glass using a special resin to fill any chips or cracks. removing trims and any mould from around the window. disconnecting any electrical parts. removing damaged glass.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals. Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations. Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
