Job Description:
- Knowledge of the construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure projects as well as running plant.
- managing parts of construction projects and activities (Excavation, RCC, Foundation, Plinths, Cement Plaster, P&F of Tile and Lining work, Grouting Work, Rebaring work, Water Proofing work etc..)
- Knowledge of Construction material like Cement, Tiles and Fittings and hardware.
- Overall responsibility to procure materials and plant (project specific or otherwise) to the correct quality and within the budget allocated and time frame.
- Review BOQ, budget, specifications and drawings for any new awarded tender to produce procurement list.
- Arrange comparable quotes for commercial manager’s review.
- Liaise with contracts/commercial manager and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure the delivery of the materials within the required timeframe.
