Instrumentation Technician

Job Description:

Goal of Function
? Officer Instrumentation- Ensures proper functionality of Instrumentation involving
production & environment is resulting quality system and environment policy.

Reporting Line / Hierarchy Level (ICP) / Deputy
? In this role you directly report to the [Assistant Manager-Electrical]
? ICP level of position: [Non ICP], [Instrumentation], [Officer]
? Deputy: [Instrumentation]
Main Responsibilities
? Responsible for attending daily maintenance and breakdown activities related to
instrumentation as per priority.
? Check daily operations related to instrumentation and ensure all instruments are maintained
at optimal operational and compliance levels
? Responsible for carrying out Preventive Maintenance and scheduled calibration of
instrument on monthly basis assigned to him.
? Prepare documentation as per calibration performed by master instruments and get it
checked on scheduled basis from the supervisor.
? Check plant weigh balance on monthly basis and maintain its healthiness by carrying out
Preventive Maintenance.
? Report for abnormality of Instrument performance if observed to take corrective action on
time
? Carry out calibration of analytical instrument such as pH sensor as per requirement.
? Carry out modification jobs related to instrumentation involving R&D product trials and
complete the job on time.

Check for spare availability to prevent major breakdown of plant affecting production on
monthly basis.

? Responsible to follow all the safety procedures defined in house to carry out daily jobs
? Maintain proper communication with other department for smooth operations.
