Urgent Opening for Sr Export Import Documents Manager, Kolkata

Job Description:

• Prepare export / import documentation for shipments under letter of credits and TT.
• Manage in-house customs clearance and freight claims for the Company.
• Scheduled and every facet of exports from location including Certificate Of Origin, Bill of Lading, Analysis and Insurance Certificate, and ensure exports were compliant with industry regulations.
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for analyses of different variations arises in shipments.
• Assist accounting, finance, and sales department.
• Provide necessary support to President and other staffs.
• Checking and verifying the contracts with buyers and accordingly send proforma invoice for receipt of advance amount, if applicable.
• Ensure all documentation for exports has been properly processed for export compliance.
• Complete billing entries per quotes and/or agreed rates capturing domestic destination payables per INCO terms.
• Verifying receipt of inventory, reconciling transaction reports and manage current client base.
• Responsible for coordinating all export deliveries under Advance Authorisation License and EPCG License for direct export and export under SEZ Units.
• Coordinate the movement of time critical cargo via ocean from time of pickup to delivery for export/import shipments.
• Prepare draft LC for import shipments for submission to bank through finance.
• Handling all Ocean Export shipment including contact the customer, pick up, documentation check, shipment booking, tracking under Letter of Credit shipments.
• Negotiate and arrange transport of goods with shipping and freight companies.
• Process commission of agents and monitor their payments to be released through bank.
