Sr Accountant - Congo
Job Description:
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- SAP Proficient profiles required
- Maintain the production and wastage entries.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts general ledger, bank statement and advance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, MIS reports and other statements.
- Maintain and record supplier dues and payments, Debtor collection report.
- Maintain and follow up of payroll of staff.
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements such as TVA.
- Maintain and follow up of Government duties, taxes, Documentation and records.
- Prepare costing for container; maintain documents related to container etc.
- Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
- Assist junior accountant in day to day accounting.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups
