Job Description:
Responsibilities:

Sample Collection and Preparation:
- Collect samples of raw materials (e.g., iron ore, coal, limestone), intermediate products (e.g., molten steel, slag), and finished steel products according to sampling protocols and schedules.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and documentation of samples to maintain traceability and integrity.
- Prepare samples for analysis by following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Chemical and Physical Analysis:
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of samples using laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Perform tests such as chemical composition analysis, moisture content determination, particle size analysis, and density measurement.
- Record analysis results accurately and maintain detailed records of sample testing activities.

Quality Control and Assurance:
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures throughout the sampling process to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Identify deviations from quality standards or specifications and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality control procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to sample collection, analysis, and quality control activities.
- Generate reports summarizing analysis results, trends, and quality performance indicators.

Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
- Maintain and calibrate sampling equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs as necessary.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental hazards.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in safety training programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety awareness.
