PROJECT HEAD (RMC INDUSTRY) - RAIPUR

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

   • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, resources, and milestones.
   • Coordinate with internal teams such as production, logistics, and quality control to ensure seamless execution.
   • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with company capabilities.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and motivate a team of project managers, engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
   • Delegate tasks effectively, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative working environment.
   • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

3. Budget Management:

   • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
   • Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate risks to stay within budgetary constraints.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all RMC products meet industry standards and client specifications.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues promptly.

5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

   • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards at all project sites.
   • Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and mitigate risks to personnel and the environment.

6. Stakeholder Management:

   • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
   • Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively to maintain positive relationships.

7. Continuous Improvement:

   • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
   • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in project management within the RMC industry, with a strong understanding of concrete production processes and construction practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing health, safety, and environmental practices in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
