 Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

 Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.

 Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.

 Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

 Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records.

 Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

 Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance efficiency and optimize equipment performance.

 Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.

 Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.

 Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant maintenance.

 Plant Maintenance Engineer Required Skills

 Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

 Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repair.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.

 Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and practices.

 Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

 Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

 Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external vendors.

 Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

 Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
