TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Specialist to join our team in the packaging and printing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing TPM strategies to optimize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve overall efficiency in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. TPM Program Development:

   • Develop and implement a comprehensive TPM program tailored to the unique needs of the packaging and printing industry.
   • Create and maintain a TPM roadmap outlining the step-by-step implementation plan.

2. Equipment Inspection and Assessment:

   • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of packaging and printing machinery to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
   • Work closely with maintenance teams to prioritize and address equipment reliability concerns.

3. Root Cause Analysis:

   • Investigate and analyze equipment failures and breakdowns to identify root causes.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

4. Training and Skill Development:

   • Provide training to maintenance teams and operators on TPM principles and best practices.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging skill development and knowledge sharing.

5. OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Improvement:

   • Monitor and analyze OEE metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
   • Implement strategies to enhance OEE by addressing equipment availability, performance, and quality.

6. Spare Parts Management:

   • Develop and maintain an effective spare parts management system to ensure timely availability of critical components.
   • Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate records of TPM activities, including inspections, maintenance tasks, and improvements.
   • Generate regular reports to communicate progress, key performance indicators, and areas for further attention.

8. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

   • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance overall production efficiency.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

9. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure all TPM activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
   • Collaborate with safety officers to integrate TPM practices into the overall safety management system.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in implementing TPM in a packaging and printing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of packaging and printing machinery and processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
