Job Description:

Senior Software Engineer – Dotnet

Experience : 4 to 8 years

Location :- Coimbatore

Candidate must have 4+ years of experience on C# / .Net

Skillsets :- .Net Core

Strong knowledge in SQL Server.

Should handle a team of 5 or more members.

The budget you can go maximum up to 2x from their experience with lesser notice period.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

1.      Frame specifications based on high-level understanding of the problem statement and develop the code.

2.      Develop, write, and implement software-programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies.

3.      Implementing low-level solutions for business problems.

4.      Write high quality code using the guidelines and effectively debug the code.

5.      Document the code changes, package the code, and unit test it

6.      Perform code review of junior members

7.      Work with the application development team in delivering the project and deliverables within time and good quality

8.      Assess requirements for new and enhanced functionalities; identify impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware, and networks

9.      Perform unit testing, ensure quality assurance of applications through system testing

10.   Keep up-to date with latest technologies, trends and provides inputs/recommendations to project manager or the architect as required

11.   Coordinate and communicate with the other tracks and disciplines involved in the project

12.   Perform root cause analysis for production issues

13.   Investigate and resolve technical issue

 

Support Activities:

 

14.   Take ownership of customer issues and addressing customer needs and pain points

15.   Collect prompt and accurate feedback from customers

16.   Responding to customer queries via chat, phone, or mail

17.   Reporting customer feedback to Support Manager or Project Manager

18.   Document the solution in Knowledgebase system for future reference

19.   Help juniors to address customer queries

20.   Ensure the proper recording of all support activities

5.      Participate in requirement gathering, analysis and feasibility study

 

Technical Skillset:

 

1.      Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Technologies such as ASP.NET 4.X and above, .Net Core, C#.Net, ADO.Net, 

2.      Experience in creating database schema using SQL Server 2014 and above. knowledge on MongoDB or Cosmos DB is a plus

3.      SQL Server must.

4.      Strong technical knowledge on scripting languages like Javascript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3

5.      Better understanding of Agile methodologies and of DevOps integration

6.      Basic understanding on design patterns and principles

7.      Experience in code versioning tools like Git\ TFS\ BitBucket, etc

8.      Good understanding of IIS 7.X or above

9.      Experience in Session Management, Exception Handling & Logging, IOC and DI

10.   Work experience with Repository Pattern, Unit of Works and Microservices pattern is a plus

11.   Experience in automation testing using selenium \ TestNg is a plus

 

Knowledge of Tools

                                                                                                                                                       

1.      Knowledge of tools: Visual Studio 2015 or higher, VS Code, SSMS, GIT/TFS, Windows 7 or higher

2.      Knowledge on technologies like Service Bus, Blob, Microservices, Cosmos db etc. is a plus
