Sr Accountant (Aurangabad & Nagpur)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

   • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
   • Generate financial reports and provide variance analysis to highlight key performance indicators.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

   • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets.
   • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.

3. General Accounting:

   • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
   • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

4. Internal Controls:

   • Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
   • Conduct regular audits to identify and address any financial discrepancies.

5. Compliance:

   • Stay current with accounting regulations and industry best practices.
   • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

6. Financial Analysis:

   • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
   • Provide insights into cost control measures and profitability improvements.

7. Audit Preparation:

   • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
   • Prepare necessary documentation and schedules for audit reviews.

8. Team Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management.
   • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
